A charging point is connected when it is linked to the internet and managed by monitoring software. In more technical terms, here are the main stages:
- The charging point is connected via the Internet to a monitoring server in order to send back all the information in accordance with the OCPP standard.
- The monitoring server will retrieve all this information and process it in order to provide you with the relevant information to manage your charging points via your Chargemap Business management platform.
- In accordance with the OCPP protocol, you will be able, via your platform, to influence the behaviour of your charging points, for example by defining the authorisation level, launching a remote charging session or restarting the charging point.
